AGENDA:
- Discussion with Caryn Wenzara of Community Planning and Development regarding the tentative 2012 work plan for the Planning Services Section of CPD.
- Discussion with Michelle Pyle of CPD of latest proposed text amendment to the Zoning Code, relating to nonconforming signs. CPD is fulfilling its promise to brief the INC ZAP committee about all proposed text amendments.
1. Discussion with new Manager of the Public Works Department, Jose Cornejo regarding: general description of functions of Public Works; ideas on implementing the Strategic Transportation Plan, the Strategic Parking Plan and Living Streets (all of which INC worked on and supported); ideas on seeking and listening to citizen input and publicizing Public Works issues to neighborhood groups; willingness to work with INC and CPD and Parks and Recreation to establish and enforce rules and policies for a) safe sidewalks and b) attractive tree lawns and streetscapes.
- Further review and update of INC's 2006 Sidewalk Position Statement.
- Any other business or issues.
