[CPN] Five Points Earth Week volunteers

Hello!

My name is Travis Herman from District 8 Councilman Albus Brooks' office and the Engage 8 organization.

Engage 8 is a non-profit designed specifically for Denver's District 8. We are putting together an event called Earth Week, which will feature an entire week of work from community volunteers to better the neighborhood, specifically the Welton Street Corridor. We are currently looking for volunteers for the event who would like to help out in any way possible. Mostly, we will need volunteers for the Earth Day Welton Street clean-up on April 22nd. (This clean-up includes: graffiti removal, trash pickup, painting, sweeping, window washing, etc.)

Would anyone from your RNO or the neighborhood it represents want to volunteer for the Welton Street clean-up?  We feel this event is very important to the revitalizing of Five Points and could be the first domino to drop in a line of changes. It would be greatly appreciated!

Attached is a flyer with a brief summary of Earth Week. Here are two websites with more information on the event: http://fivepointsearthweek.wordpress.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/events/151153591669946/

Please do not hesitate to contact us:
