I am so excited that the weather is feeling summery and the season is kicking into gear! There's a lot going on this weekend in your Altitude Multisport Club:
- Buena Vista Bike Festival (Saturday) - have a great time, Cristin and Adrian!
- Colfax Half Marathon (Sunday) - Neil Reese, Kelly Branch, Richard Murphy, Matt Newport, Erin Trail, Stephanie Beiermann, Jose Gonzalez and Jordan Graham
- Encinitas Sprint Triathlon (Sunday) - our West Coast Affiliate Casey McKinney
By the way, there's a crowd gathering at Lone Tree Brewing Company on Sunday after the Colfax run. Watch our Facebook page for details as to what time we're meeting. Remember, beer is a great recovery drink!
On to training opportunities:
- Saturday morning run group - Jason Crichton posted on FB - meet at Lost Coffee in Castle Rock at 8:00 am
- Grant Ranch is opening for swimming! Bob Bastiaans and others are heading over for a swim on Sunday morning; Bob recommends wearing two swim caps and earplugs - says it won't be that bad
- Hans Pennik is leading a Sunday morning ride from the Parker Rec Center - meet at 8:45; ride away at 9:00.
