As we reach the end of Spring and the hot days of Summer loom ahead, it's time for the urban gardener to think about our most precious resource: WATER. Join us as we welcome Elizabeth Gardener from Denver Water for a workshop on Urban Water Conservation. We'll discuss what it means to be in a drought, and share water saving techniques for your garden, yard, and home. Remember: use only what you need!

Schedule:
10am-12pm: Urban Water Conservation Workshop
12pm-3pm: Volunteer Orientation; Meet Staff, Board, and Participants; Tour EarthLinks; Shop the EarthLinks Store

EarthLinks Community Links is a monthly open house that promotes garden-based skills for sustainable urban lifestyles. The events feature experts and participants of EarthLinks, an innovative, urban nonprofit in Denver that provides a work program for people who are homeless and low-income to learn skills and create Earth-friendly products that sustain people and the planet.
