[CPN] Thanks Denver!

Thanks to the outpouring of concerns against graffiti vandalism from Denver and across the country, I am pleased to report that Coca-Cola has instituted a policy prohibiting any future illegal graffiti.  As I advised last month,  spray-painted illegal graffiti advertising by Coca-Cola had appeared on sidewalks in the New Orleans French Quarter.  Would Denver be the next target?

I had the opportunity to speak with Senior Vice President - Chief Public Affairs and Communications Officer Clyde Tuggle.  Mr. Tuggle assured me that Coke would not be involved in any further advertising utilizing spray painted ads on public facilities as they did to sidewalks in New Orleans.

I also spoke with the Coca-Cola operations manager in New Orleans.  He referred to the illegal advertising as a "dumb, stupid thing to do." He told me that the "company learned a valuable lesson."

Although Coke has pledged to avoid this sort of conduct in the future, you can contact Coca-Cola officials directly to express your concerns at the following email and mailing address.  You can also contact me at www.DefacingAmerica.com
