[emrat:1493] Spring opener details

Hi kids!

Well, it appears as though the weather will be pretty darn nice this weekend, so we'll head for the hills. That means that we'll meet in Morrison at the Blue Cow and leave there by 9:30 AM on Saturday. For those interested, we shall stop to regroup and meet those from the southern sections of the metro area at Deckers around 10:30. After a short delay, it'll be off to Woodland Park, and the Hungry Bear for lunch. If you  haven't been there, it helps to be a bit peckish so that you might fully enjoy the bountiful meals that they prepare. If you eat big in Morrison, you might need to request a kids meal. I'm sticking with a cuppa joe until then.

From there it's on to Westcliffe, following sections of the beautiful Gold Belt Tour Scenic and Historic Byway that we've taken for the past 4 years to the Arkansas river canyon near the mouth of the Royal George. Then it is a brief 35 or so miles to Westcliffe, where the beer and wine will flow like water, and the stories will grow as truth shrinks in proportion to the intake of alcohol. Woo-hoo!

See you Saturday!
