[CPN] Denver Public Library - Public Meeting to Discuss 2013 Budget, June 19 @ 6 p.m.

Dear Community Members,

Happy Monday! We just wanted to let you know that on June 19, the Denver Public Library Commission will be holding a public meeting to discuss the 2013 budget and future funding of the Library. Details are below:

DENVER PUBLIC LIBRARY COMMISSION TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS
DPL's 2013 BUDGET & FUTURE FUNDING

Tuesday, June 19, 2012 | 6-7:30 p.m.
Denver Central Library, 10 W. 14th Ave. Parkway, Level 7 Training Room

Many City agencies are faced with potential budget reductions for 2013, and DPL has been asked to prepare scenarios for a $2.4 million reduction, which could mean further reducing hours and material budgets, or closing branches.

The public is invited to share their ideas about 2013 budget and discuss future sustainable funding options.

No RSVP is required. Anyone who cannot attend the meeting can send feedback to:
dplcommunity@denverlibrary.org
