Please attend the next committee meeting: Please note different location for this meeting only – former Emerson School, 1420 Ogden Street, the new headquarters of Historic Denver, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Colorado Preservation, Inc. Parking lot to the north of the building or on the street. Enter from north door.

AGENDA:

 

1. Discussion with Zoning Administrator Michael O'Flaherty of spacing ordinance to regulate location of shelters and large residential care uses and prevent oversaturation of neighborhoods. He will present an updated map of such facilities.
2. Discussion with Molly Urbina and Tina Axelrad of the Community Planning and Development Department of the relationship between planning process and zoning process. They will also respond to motion passed by our committee in April regarding "return on investment" as a factor to be considered in planning and zoning decisions.
3. Development of mission statement for ZAP Committee.
4. Any other business or issues. Please bring any zoning, planning or licensing issues from your neighborhood.

The committee usually meets on the fourth Saturday of each month. The next meeting will be on August 25, 2012. Please calendar ahead. We will skip the July meeting and encourage everyone to attend the Neighborhood Conference on July 21 at Coors Field. More information will follow.
