You are invited to participate in two neighborhood workshops that will focus on four opportunity sites along the South Platte corridor (see map and additional information in the attached bilingual flyer). We will be engaging the public at these meetings to explore concepts to enhance the South Platte River corridor at the identified sites:
Tuesday June 12th
Evans and Alameda Areas
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Athmar Recreation Center
2680 West Mexico Avenue, Denver
Tuesday June 19th
River North and Water Street Areas
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
St. Charles Recreation Center
3777 Lafayette Street, Denver
The River North area workshop will also explore concepts for storm water management through consolidated green infrastructure between 31st Street and 38th Street, and between the South Platte and Union Pacific Rail corridor near Wazee Street.
