2012 Colorado Conference on Poverty - Understanding CSBG and Getting Ahead of Poverty Registration is now open for the 2012 Colorado Conference on Poverty. The conference is taking place from Tuesday, August 7 - Friday, August 10, 2012 in Pueblo, CO at the Pueblo Convention Center.   WHY ATTEND THE CONFERENCE? Enjoy beautiful Pueblo, Colorado - the gateway to Southeast Colorado while participating in a four-day conference packed full of amazing sessions and speakers, inspiring and entertaining keynotes and networking activities with your peers! HELP OTHERS OVERCOME POVERTY When people understand and relate to a problem, they're more inspired and empowered to seek out solutions.  The 2012 Colorado Conference on Poverty is a statewide, private and publicly funded event that engages policy makers, government employees, social service agencies, advocates, volunteers and people of low-income in intensive learning, training and planning around poverty issues.  CONFERENCE FEES Due to a grant from the Federal Government this year's conference is amazingly affordable for all attendees. Additionally Colorado Community Action Association (CCAA) may be able to help individual agencies, especially CSBG Agencies & CCAA Members with scholarships for registration, mileage, etc. $100 for CCAA Members for entire conference attendance, lodging & meals. $125 for Non-CCAA Members for entire conference attendance, lodging & meals. $50 for Commuting Attendees for conference attendance, meals and no lodging.
