Subject: CONTEST: "Change in Motion" Multimedia Contest for Immigrant Youth
Dear Service Providers,
The American Immigration Council is pleased to announce a call for submissions to the 2012 “Change in Motion” Multimedia Contest. The competition challenges today’s young adults to explore the role that immigration plays in their lives and communities through video and other multimedia projects. Projects should focus on celebrating America as a nation of immigrants as well as the immigration's impact on our everyday lives.
The details are on their website. It would be great to encourage the youth in our communities to submit their entries.

Immigrant integration is a dynamic, two-way process in which newcomers and the receiving society work together to build secure, vibrant, and cohesive communities. As an intentional effort, integration engages and transforms all community members, reaping shared benefits and creating a new whole that is greater than the sum of its parts (Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees).
