All,
This is a project that needs Latino community involvement (see attachments.)  If you have ideas/suggestions please contact Shelli Brown. This project cannot be successful w/o Latino communities, organization, families and youth, etc. There is also a need for community serving organizations

Hello Steps to Success Supporters!

One of the first and most important steps in any community effort is assessment and we are about to begin that stage of our project. The information we gather from surveying will inform the community about its strengths and challenges.  We’re recruiting approximately 50 interviewers to conduct Community Surveys in Montbello and/or Northeast Park Hill. Results from these surveys will be used along with the school surveys to help guide efforts to create healthy and safe communities. Paid training will be provided and interviewers will earn $10 per completed interview.

Please distribute the attached recruitment flyer through your networks.

Qualifications:
  • Available to work April-July
  • Attend a 2-day paid orientation training
  • Hours will include some evenings and weekends
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with Montbello and Northeast Park Hill neighborhoods
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Ability to walk or drive to selected addresses
  • Bilingual (Spanish) encouraged to apply

Interested individuals can either email STSMontbello@gmail.com or call 303-735-3655 by April 13th to set up a screening interview.

Please note: You may also pick up posters with the above information from me at the Lowry Family Center anytime this week.

Thanks for your help!
Shelli
