It looks like we have a consensus from the Doodle poll and will hold the BBQ on Sunday, 29 July. Unfortunately it’s not a 100% unanimous vote, but that would be nearly impossible. The Doodle poll was just to find the best date; obviously any others are welcome (and encouraged) to attend if plans change or you just did not have an chance to vote.
Let’s watch the weather as we get closer, but the general plan is to hopefully fly and then go over to the house. We can shoot for a 4 pm start if the weather does not cooperate or people can’t make it to fly.
We will have burgers and chicken for grilling. Feel free to bring anything else if you would like. We'll also have appetizers and sides (chips, veggies, pasta salad, etc...). Maybe a few people could volunteer to bring desserts. Also please bring any libations you would like.
Of course, spouses/significant others and children are welcome.
I will send out specific directions to the house before the weekend.
