WE NEED YOUR HELP! WHAT: This month, the state Colorado Works team will be launching a TANF participant survey to assess perceptions of program accessibility and purpose. It is an online survey with mail-in surveys available for those without Internet access. A mailing will go to all work-eligible cases in the state (no child-only cases) encouraging them to go online to complete the survey. We will collect responses through August 10th, and then compile, analyze, and share results with you. WHY: In light of the recent federal waiver option announcement, this survey is of even more importance as it can highlight opportunities to improve participant outcomes. The more data we gather, the better the results will be, and the more-informed our program decisions will be! HOW YOU CAN HELP: You can help by sharing the survey link with your participants and encouraging them to fill it out. Your personal outreach would go a long way towards getting the participation we need. Please post the attached flier around your lobby, in your offices and interview spaces or just print it and hand it out. Tape it to shared computer monitors that participants use. Do you correspond with participants by email? Include the link! IMPORTANT FINE PRINT: We will not collect any information that connects respondents with their case files or their caseworkers – responses will be anonymous. THANKS!
