To all prospective Rally-ers
It seems our usual fearless leader Dan Pilcher prefers hiking in South America during this year's Black Hills Rally Week. I've agreed to pinch-hit for this year's trip. Please reply if you have an interest in going.
Depending on folk's desire, we have 2 options. We can do the usual and leave Thursday August 2nd and return the following Sunday or Monday. Typically we leave Johnson's Corner at 10:00 AM and get in around 5:00. Or, we could leave Friday August 3rd and return on Tuesday, August 7th. That would allow us a full day on Monday to truly experience the official opening. Can't get too much of those Harley pipes!
For those that have not gone, this is a camping trip and we have a preferred location in suburban Sturgis that has cold beer, hot showers and breakfasts too. The camping fee is $15 per night with advance reservations, the breakfast (and beer) is for an additional fee and of course, optional.
Remember, Triumph in the Rockies in Montrose is the prior weekend of July 27-29.
This event is open to all who enjoy MC riding so feel free to invite friends, at least friends on two wheels.
